We’ve been on a wild ride over the past year, and it’s fair to say that, as summer approaches, we’re all ready for great times with friends and family. 

With that in mind, Cat’s Cradle is excited to announce the theme of this year’s Summertime Challenge! As you daydream about exciting summer activities, won’t you consider a Summer VaCATion!? From putting your paws into the sand of your favorite beach to hiking along a gorgeous mountain trail, there are many opportunities to get out and enjoy the world again. 

While planning your purrfect vacation destination, don’t forget how Cat’s Cradle helps countless cats and kittens find their dream destination: their furrever home. While not every cat parent would consider their house a five-star resort, the kitties we adopt out surely see them as the height of luxury: endless scritches, toys galore, food delivered to them regularly – a truly pampered experience! 

Back in April, you all donated $41,709.34 to our Beat the Heat Challenge, a record-smashing, awe-inspiring total. ME-WOW!!Your support helps us in our efforts to ‘beat the heat’ through our aggressive spay/neuter program. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Now it's time for the Summertime Challenge, our largest fundraiser of the year. Summertime Challenge is critical for us because it helps to shore up all of our other programs and services—like rescue/foster/adoption, medical assistance and pet retention—through the summer and fall. We’re blessed to once again have $50,000 matching money from a selfless, anonymous donor, and we want to make sure we get every dollar of that matching fund. For the 2020 Summertime Challenge, you all donated nearly $70,000!! Can we continue breaking records in 2021 and surpass last year’s total?! With your support, Cat’s Cradle can do even more INCREDIBLE things this year!!
