The wonderful cats on this page will need someone very special to offer them not only a loving forever home, but the extra care they need due to a disability, disease, or medical condition they might have.

Tinsel

Tinsel is a beautiful 4 year old female calico Domestic Shorthair cat.

She is currently in foster care, and is available for adoption now.

Tinsel came to us in December 2015 after being found as a young kitten. She was covered with snow. On cleaning her it was discovered she had some issues with her back legs. Diagnosed with nerve damage. Due to this she had trouble eliminating entirely which leads to UTI’s. She can climb steps, run and is otherwise healthy. Her only drawback is she doesn’t use the litter box. She is very loving and very thankful upon getting her morning canned food. Loves laser pointers and head scratches. A potential adopt or would be ideal to have all hardwood or ceramic floors with throw rugs. Tinsel enjoys playing, napping, snacking, kneading the dough and making the biscuits, and good long talks. She is micro-chipped, spayed, and current on vaccinations.

Clove

Clove is an adorable 8 month old female brown tabby Domestic Shorthair cat.

She is currently in foster care, and is available for adoption now!

Clove was a “bottle baby” and is extremely people-oriented. Her favorite place to sleep is on someone’s chest or shoulder, and she gives great face rubs and nose boops. Clove was the runt of her litter, but she was the first to walk, run, explore and eat solid food. She is adventurous, brave, playful and cuddly. Clove will remain a petite cat, still very dainty at 8 months old. She would be a great fit for a person or family looking for an affectionate and silly little sidekick. She gets along with other cats and dogs too!

Clove is considered a special needs cat, because she has had stomach issues since she was around 1 month old. She has fluctuated between constipation and diarrhea, which has finally been diagnosed as Juvenile IBS – This is something that some cats grow out of, but some do not. Because of this, we do not know if this will be a lifelong problem for her. She is regulated well on steroid & Hills I/d food. She might require medication and special diet lifelong.

Clove is micro-chipped, spayed, and current on vaccinations.

She is currently in foster care, and is available for adoption now!

Squeak is a very endearing and loving cat, who loves to talk; that’s how she got her name! She loves to eat, as you can see by how plump she is. Even though she’s a big girl, she still likes to play. She is doing well with her heart murmur, but may have a shortened life due to it. She does have chronic rhinitis which can make it hard for her to breath though her nose. She is currently on a few medications which she will need to remain on. She gets along well with other cats! Squeak is micro-chipped, spayed, and current on all vaccinations.

Patchy is such a cuddler, and loves kitty kisses. He runs, jumps & plays with all the other kitties in his foster home, and then he naps well. He is just such a loving baby. He may have one eye, but he doesn’t notice, and it doesn’t hold him back a bit! He has chronic feline herpes virus in his remaining eye, which means he often has weepy eyes, which are usually worse when he is under stress. Sprinkling an inexpensive immune boosting powder on his food, and wiping his eyes on occasion help a lot. You will love patchy! He is truly one of his kind. He loves treats. Wynonna

Wynonna is a beautiful 1 year old female Dilute Calico Domestic Shorthair cat.

She is currently in foster care, and is available for adoption now.

Wynonna is a sweetheart, looking for her furever home. After a rough start in life with both humans and cats, she has adapted remarkably well in her foster family. Her favorite activities are watching birds, playing with toys on strings and climbing high places. She loves sleeping with her humans. She’s prefers not to be held, and, with time, loves being pet. She’s been around young children and other cats, but would need a slow introduction to both. Her nickname is Nona. She is micro-chipped, spayed, and current on vaccinations.

Bjorn

Bjorn is an adorable 8 month old female grey and white tuxedo Manx Domestic Shorthair cat.

She is currently in foster care, and is available for adoption now!

Bjorn is the sweetest, most loving and affectionate little kitten. She loves to cuddle and play. She gets along great with other cats, dogs and small children too! She is curious, and loves to play and explore. She loves to jump for a wand toy. She loves to go outside and chase butterflies and run around. She would do great in a controlled outdoor environment (safe from busy streets and predators) where she could spend time outdoors, but live indoors, and come in at night. She she’s in her foster home, during the day she plays in the screened porch, and takes a few supervised trips outside in the fenced in yard. She looks like a little bunny when she’s joyfully hopping around the yard.

Bjorn is a Manx cat (born without a tail) and unfortunately, in some cases with Manx cats, like herself, she sometimes has a problem controlling her urine and bowels. She currently requires medicine twice a day. It is an inexpensive medication, and she is very good at tolerating taking it.

Rhema

Rhema is a gorgeous 9 year old female grey and apricot dilute Tortoiseshell Domestic Shorthair cat.

She is currently in foster care, and is available for adoption now!

Rhema is an incredible cat that is very sensitive. She is a very loving and chatty cat, who will come straight to your lap for petting and a nap. She’d be an excellent Netflix buddy. She is looking for a quiet, peaceful home, where she can enjoy long naps on a bed or couch. She loves spending time with calm people, who can appreciate her delicate approach to life. She is soft, sweet and loving. She loves to be rubbed under her chin.

Rhema had bad experiences with small children and more aggressive cats in the past. This experience made her scared of people, noises and confusion. Sometimes she will hiss or swat at you if she feels very cornered, but even then, she tries to be gentle and prefers flight to fight. If she’s scared, her whole little body just trembles. However, if given space and time, she will come out of her shell and become your best friend. She has made huge progress, both with time and with the help of medication (Prozac), which she might eventually be able to discontinue once she is adjusted to her environment. She is protective of her food when it comes to other animals. She would thrive best in a home without small children, dogs or other cats. She is micro-chipped, spayed, and current on vaccinations.
