This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Heather Austin at (540) 560-6565

Artemis is a one-year-old,  spayed female, Tortoise shell cat.  She is current on all her vaccinations.

little skittish around strangers. She can be a snugly lap cat, but only on her terms! She spent the first year of her life indoors and is good with children, other cats, and will tolerate dogs. She is very playful, but does not bite or scratch. She loves the outdoors and if she had a preference, would be an indoor/outdoor cat. She also has a sister, Isis.

My name is Tyon. I just turned
a year old last month! I have a very loving and cuddly personality. I
do not really do well with other pets or small children since they
scare me and since I love to be the center of attention. I love to
play with my mouse and eat lots of treats. I love to purr and get my
head rubbed. I will usually thank you by licking your nose or cheek.”
I wish I could keep my cat since I love him so much, but due to moving
I am not able to. I would love to find him a great home since he is
such a wonderful companion.

My name is Nero and I am close to 3 years old. I was found all battered up and very sick. I have since been groomed, fixed and am up to date with all my shots! Healthy as can be. I like to play outdoors and indoors and am also litter trained!

I like to be the only cat. I may be selfish, but what can I say? I love to be cuddled and pet and love to talk and sing! I constantly purr and while I purr, I also whistle. I’m sure I’ll make you smile. Please take me home and I’ll be your best friend if you’ll be mine.

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Desaree at 540-414-5594.

Lola and her sister Lilah are good friends! Here is info for both:

LILAH (Grey & white with green eyes)
Female
Spayed on April 25th, 2016
Received 1 year Rabies shot on April 25th, 2016
About 3.5-4.5 lbs
Date of birth: Jan. 23rd, 2016

Both are playful (especially with each other) and love to be on laps & be cuddled. They love to get their faces/ears rubbed. They also enjoy chasing the little laser light around the house. They are very close and cry out when they can’t find each other. .

They are good with kids. I have 4 children 5 & under & they have not scratched or bitten any of them. My 5 year old likes to pretend she’s a dog. She gets on all fours and goes around the house. Lola plays with her and chases her around. My 14 month old hugs them…more than they’d like, but they’ve been very tolerable & have not scratched or bitten her. Lola is ok with you turning her over onto her back and rubbing her belly. Lilah is a little skittish about it, but eventually gives in if you’re gentle.

Merlin is an 8-year-old, neutered male, gray tabby Domestic Shorthair.

Merlin’s owner says, “I am moving to Bridgewater Retirement Community and they do not want pets to go outside without a leash. Merlin is a great pet and I do not want to give him up. I do not think a leash will work for Merlin and staying inside all the time will not work also. Merlin is a grey Tabby and 8 years old. He was a stray and then an outside cat for his first 4 years. When I got him from a friend he became an outside/inside cat. He is litter box trained. I am hoping to find a loving home where he can go outside sometimes.”

Leo and Lily are two adult cats who need a new home. Leo is a 4-year-old, neutered male, black Domestic Shorthair. Lily is a 8-year-old, spayed female, gray tabby Domestic Shorthair. If interested, contact Clara at claradavis0518@gmail.com

It is absolutely devastating for us to rehome our cats, but unfortunately we had a son born in May who has bad asthma. We have and are currently trying all treatment options available and it’s to the point where his doctors think that the cats are affecting his breathing. We are unable to do allergy testing until he is 18 months old, but the doctors think it is in our sons best interest to try and find our precious cats a new loving home. I really want them to stay together as they have been together for several years. They are both very sweet cats but can be timid at first. They are strictly indoor cats. We would love an “open” adoption where we could check in and keep updated with them and their new family. The last thing we want is for someone to adopt them both and the situation not work out well and for them to get taken to a pound. If that were the case we would prefer to take them back to our home and work on finding them another home. They are part of our family and it breaks my heart to even have to do this, but our sons health is important and we have tried all available medical options to keep our cats in our home.

Buster

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, please contact the owner Taryn at 757-477-6600

Buster is a 2-year-old, declawed male, Orange Domestic/Medium haired adult cat.

Message from the owner:

“Buster is almost 2 years old now. He’s an orange, medium-haired cat. Buster was originally orphaned, and has been around my large (60 and 70 pound) dogs. He does well with them, and enjoys playing with them and bossing them around. He’s a typical cat, so he likes being petted and then tells you to stop. He’s a great combination of independent and social. Buster has only been an inside cat, as he is declawed as well. He’s up to date on all of his shots, very well litter trained, and very playful. Whatever family is lucky enough to adopt Buster will also receive his enclosed litter box, toys, food bowl, and his favorite blanket, which he likes snuggling and kneading. (Buster would be the perfect first cat for a family!) I LOVE Buster and would love to keep him as a part of my family, but I recently accepted a job as an international teacher in Shanghai, China. China has strict limits on pets, so unfortunately Buster cannot accompany me. I was originally looking for a family that might allow me to have him back when I return, but I know that is not fair or really feasible. I only ask that he go to the BEST, most LOVING family around, and preferably that family sends me periodic pictures and updates – kind of like an open adoption.”

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Tara at (304) 582-2099.

Kabuki is an 11-year-old, spayed female, calico Domestic Shorthair.

Kabuki loves people, but not so happy about other cats. Maybe one will be okay, but that cat would have to be an Alpha boy, because this girl wants to be queen. She is a purr girl and likes to play, still. She is feisty as kitten, and clever. Pretty markings, too. She is a lap kitty and would love to have someone all to herself. Up to date on shots, comes with vet records if you wish. She is declawed and needs to be exclusively indoors.
