Patches

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Pam Boothe at 540-294-6748, or boothepm@yahoo.com.

Patches is a handsome, 4 month old neutered, male black and white Domestic Shorthair cat.

He is an outgoing bundle of curiosity, fur, and flying paws. Toys do not last long around him, and you will tire out way before he will! He is fond of human food, and will stick his little face right into your cereal bowl if you aren’t careful. He is a lap cat, and will make sure you are never cold. Cuddles and attention are just the best thing ever for him, except for wrestling with anyone who’ll tolerate his high energy. He is shy around new people, but give him time, string, laser lights, and wet food and he’ll be your lover boy forever! He is currently living in Staunton, VA.

If interested, please contact Pam at the number/email above.

Domino

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Pam Boothe at 540-294-6748, or boothepm@yahoo.com.

Domino is a beautiful, 4 month old spayed, female black and white Domestic Shorthair cat.

She is a very loving and playful cat. She loves to cuddle under the chin of her people once she is used to them. She is the most introverted of her siblings who prefers to play inside boxes and popup cubes rather than string. Laser dots are the number one best toy ever of course. Domino is very attached to her brother Patches and her current owner would like to see them adopted together, but any home with cats she can interact with will be a good match once she’s settled in. She was diagnosed with a heart murmur at 2 months old by her vet, and so please consider this carefully as it may become an issue in her life down the road. She can sometimes be a picky eater, but she still accepts treats as a friendship offering. Domino is located in Staunton, VA.

If interested, please contact Pam at the number/email above.

Simba

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Jess Dove-Neff at 540-560-4011, or jessdn93@gmail.com.

Simba is a handsome, 3 year old neutered, male orange tabby Domestic Shorthair cat.

He is an affectionate, and easy going cat that loves to take long naps in the sun. Simba enjoys being an indoor/outdoor cat; he needs a place to call home, where he is welcome inside but has the option to explore outside as well. Simba is not used to busy areas, so being near a busy road is not safe for him. He loves his long naps, and is extremely gentle and loving. He enjoys other cats, but he does not like the company of dogs. Simba was raised with a young child in the house; he warms up quickly to strangers and other cats. He is currently living in Rockingham County, VA, and his owners are willing to bring him a reasonable distance to find him a loving home.

If interested, please contact Jess at the number/email above.

Happy

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Lara at 612-859-3899 or larabtuttle@gmail.com.

Happy is a beautiful 5 year old spayed female brown and white tabby Domestic Shorthair cat.

Happy loves people, loves to sit on laps, loves her routines such as her Fancy Feast at 6pm, good with dogs once acclimated, and overall adapts well to new surroundings. She is playful, affectionate, and has been living indoor / outdoor, so she might adapt to the same situation in another home if it is safe for her to go in and out too. This sweet cat has had no litter box issues before moving to her family’s new home. Another cat lived there before, and marked it’s territory inside. Sometimes cats will develop this behavior in this isolated situation if it has been done by another cat in the same home before. If she is in a home that no other cats have marked in, there is no reason to believe the behavior will continue, but her current family just moved into a new house, and will not be able to handle this issue in the new home.   She has no aggressive behaviors and no skittish tendencies, and has been well loved. She is spayed and litter box trained. She is living in Charlottesville, VA.

If you’d like to give this sweet cat a loving forever home, please contact Lara at the phone number or email above.

Suki

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Rachel at (540) 280-4539 or rheneberry@gmail.com.

Suki is a beautiful 15 years young, spayed female solid white Domestic Shorthair cat.

She is a very sweet cat her caretakers found in their backyard last year. They took her in to survive the winter, but can not do it again this year. She is deaf and declawed, so she should live indoor only. She needs to be an only cat without other cats or dogs, or have a dedicated safe space to herself. She is fantastic with humans of all ages!! She would do really well with an older human as she loves to hang out and take naps. Her only known health issue is the need for grain free food since her digestive system is sensitive. She is litter box trained, and spayed. She is living in Staunton, VA.

If you’d like to give this sweet senior gal a loving forever home, please contact Rachel directly at the phone number or email above.

Precious

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact  Brittany at 540-430-0028 or BFox@AugustaHealth.com.

Precious is a beautiful 1 year old spayed female grey and white Tuxedo Domestic Shorthair cat.

Poor precious is a wonderful, sweet, mellow and loving cat who has had a hard time in life. She was raised lovingly as a bottle baby after her mother was killed by a fox, but her caretaker recently became unable to keep her for health reasons, and the family members who took her in have male cats who have not warmed up to her over several months, attacking her, and leaving her terrified. Her current family did all they can to give her a good life, but feel she would be best in a home without other animals or small children so she can recover, come out of her shell, and be the carefree, affectionate and sweet young cat she deserves to be. She has been living as indoor/outdoor, but would transition to indoor only; she is spayed, rabies vaccinated, and litter box trained cat. She is living in Waynesboro, VA.

Please consider giving this sweet girl a quiet, loving forever home – If interested please contact Brittany directly at the phone number or email above.,

Cheetoh

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Jackie at 540-905-5038 or estesjx@earthlink.net.

Cheetoh is a handsome 2 and a half year old neutered male orange tabby Domestic shorthair cat.

His caretakers say: “Cheetoh was dumped in our neighborhood a few months ago. He was almost named Hoover because he can suck up the food! He’s been neutered, tested FIV negative and had rabies, FeLeuk and distemper vaccinations. Also got wormed. (He had a cuterebra larva!). He knows his name, comes when he’s called and follows you for short distances outside. Because of that and being pretty chill, I think he could be leash trained. He’d need a horizontal scratching pad: he likes to scratch the rugs but has not shown any interest in furniture. He’s a great pet but we have 6 other cats. Initially he was really pushy with them- he’d walk towards them and hiss. Now they pass and pretend to ignore each other.”

He might do fine with other confident cats after a good, slow introduction. Dogs or small children are unknown. He is an indoor / outdoor cat who is litter box trained, is playful, affectionate, and sweet. He is currently living in Staunton, VA.

If you would like to give this sweet guy a loving forever home, please contact Jackie directly at the phone number or email above.
