Greyjoy, Thomas, and Tyrian

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals.  If interested, contact Shelby at shelbyjrugg@gmail.com.

Greyjoy, Thomas and Tyrian are adorable 3 month old neutered males, domestic Shorthair cats.

These sweet brothers were born in rural West Virginia to a barn cat sometime in April/May 2018. Momma cat was very attentive and diligently nursed them for months. Now that they are weaned and on their own, the kittens have turned there affections towards a caring a seasonal employee who lives near their barn, who diligently worked to gain the kittens’ trust, and got them neutered on 8/9/18. They had been living outdoor only, but when brought inside to heal after their surgeries, all used the litter box like pros. They would adapt well to being indoor only, or indoor outdoor in a safe area.
Their caretaker DID win them over, and has this to say about them:
“Greyjoy is the grey striped boy with a white blaze on his nose. He would make a perfect lazy house cat! Initially he was the most timid of the group, spending most of his time laying near the barn and waiting for momma cat to bring food back. Now he proves to be the most affectionate of the three. He loves to be pet, nuzzle, cuddle, purr and curl up in a good lap. Greyjoy is also very food motivated and never misses a meal. He would be an ideal house cat as I am doubtful of his hunting skills.
Thoman has patches of tabby stripes and white markings. He is equally socialized with humans as Greyjoy. Thoman tends to be the first to speak up and make himself heard. He is more forward and brave, poking his nose into everything and very good at finding his way under your feet. He joins me in the garden and loves to be involved in whatever I’m doing.
Tyrian is a spotted tabby with white paws. He is a bit different from his brothers both in looks and socialization. Initially he was the most bold of the three and would be the first to come get food from me. However, he recently left with his mother for several days into the forest. Their departure pushed Greyjoy and Thoman closer to me (and one another) while bringing out more of a wild side in Tyrian. Since being neutered he has become more comfortable with me. He is coming around to the idea of pets and human affection. He is the only one I’ve see actively hunting, though so far it seems to be mostly bugs.
These brothers are so loving, momma cat did an amazing job of teaching them how to be affectionate, well behaved cats. They currently live outside but enjoy indoors when they sneak in.”
These boys can be adopted together, or separately. If you’d like to give these wonderful kittens a loving forever home, please contact Shelby directly at the email above.

Tigger

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals.  If interested, contact Bryce at 804-895-2516 or apathetic11b@gmail.com.

Tigger is an adorable 3 year old neutered male grey tabby Domestic Shorthair cat.

Tigger is a fine import who was rescued from a marina in Oahu, Hawaii and flown out here to Virginia! He is currently living in Harrisonburg, VA. He is affectionate and sweet, but territorial around other cats. He gets along with small children and dogs. He loves to be outdoors, so an indoor / outdoor life would suit him well. He is neutered and rabies vaccinated, and litterbox trained, though he has been known to spray indoors to mark his territory – Something that he hasn’t had problems with when no other cats are around. He would be an excellent working barn cat. He has a heart murmur, which hasn’t negatively affected him so far. Please consider giving this loving guy a happy forever love and home.

If interested, please contact Bryce directly at the phone number or email above.

Lucky

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals.  If interested, contact Nicole at 404-375-5629 or coe.marie@gmail.com.

Lucky is a big, handsome 13 year old neutered male three legged black (Maine Coon mix?) Domestic Longhair cat.

Lucky is a sweet cat who enjoys having his back scratched, and is a wonderful, loyal companion. He was a feral kitten who came a long way to become the friendly guy he is now, so it takes him a little while to warm up to strangers, and become acclimated in a new environment, as he can be shy, though still friendly. He does well visits from small children, though best if they are quiet and handle him gently. He would do best in a quiet, calm home. His luxurious, long coat is magnificent. He has three legs, but that doesn’t stop him from getting around well. He has had limited experience around other cats, so it is hard to say how he’d handle a fellow cat companion. Please consider this bashful, gentle gentleman for your forever love and home.

If interested, please contact Nicole directly at the phone number or email above.

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals.  If interested, contact Nicole at 540-442-0884, or nicole.marie.hostetter@gmail.com.

Oatmeal is a 13 year old spayed female cat, and a complete love bug- just look at those beautiful green eyes!

She’ll jump up on your lap, book, or laptop to get pet, and she’ll let you know how happy she is by purring.  She loves burrowing under the covers of the bed, and napping there during the day.  She is very spry for her age, and still has lots of energy!  Her favorite toys are anything with catnip, and lasers.  Oatmeal is a bit of an attention-hog, so she should live in a quiet home without other pets or small children.

If you are interested in giving this sweet lady a peaceful, forever home, please contact Nicole at the phone number or email address above.

Sophia

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Joyce at 540-828-4215.

Sophia is a two to three year old spayed female Seal Point Siamese mix Domestic Shorthair cat.

This beautiful cat is a sweet, affectionate, energetic and playful young lady who warms up quickly to strangers. She can be very playful, but can also be a couch potato at times. She loves her scratching post, and one of her favorite things to do is hold shoes, yes shoes, in her arms. She is smart and loving. She was attacked by a dog in the past when she was living indoor / outdoor, so she needs now to be an indoor only cat, is litter box trained, and would not like to live with dogs, but gets along with children and other cats too! Please consider giving this beautiful cat a loving forever home.

Astra and Jupiter

These animals are posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Kate at 434-760-1515 or katemahanes@hotmail.com.

Jupiter is a precious 2 month old neutered male grey and white tuxedo Domestic Shorthair cat. He is very sweet, and though he started out fearful, is learning that he enjoys the company of people. He is playful and energetic, but starts off a little shy, and would be best in a calm, quieter home where he can really come out of his shell.

Astra is an adorable 2 month old spayed female black and white tuxedo Domestic Shorthair cat. Astra is a bit more shy than Jupiter. She is learning to trust people, and is making good progress, but will also do best in a home that is quiet and calm, where she can really shine. She is playful and energetic when things are quiet.

These two have been living an indoor / outdoor life, so they could continue to have access to both, rather than solely indoor, but it would be recommended that they are very stable in their homes first, because they are so shy and might would run away outdoors.  They could be adopted separately, but being adopted together will help them socialize better, and bring each other comfort. Please consider one of both of this adorable duo for your forever loves and home. They are currently living in Staunton, VA.

If interested, please contact Kate at the number or email above.

Puccah

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact River at 540~705~5938 or Elementlquest@rocketmail.com.

Puccah (pronounced Pooh~ka) is a sweet spayed female pitbull mix tan and white short haired dog.

Her caregiver has this to say about her:

“Hello potential loving family. My name is River. A year ago I saw a dog in need. I took her home. I rehabilitated her. It seems the reason for our paths crossing has come to it’s end.
This is Puccah. Her age isn’t certain. The wearing of her teeth from the journey of her life before me has made it hard to determine. The guess is 11-13 years. Then again…she could be younger. Regardless,  she loves life, takes pleasure in the simple things..being outside…laying on her bed…getting pets …treats .. Interaction with another dog.
She has typical signs of an aging dog…changing of the color of her face…slower in her endeavors. Her basic old girl ways is accompanied by a spine dis- ease that weakens her back end. I have found with daily 15 minute walks she is as strong as your typical older girl. Puccah is in need of a home that will love her unconditionally but also love her enough to be firm, make her walk and be mindful of her food intake (being overweight only makes mobility harder) so that she can maintain a capable, healthy life. In return Puccah will be the gentle, quiet, loving girl that just wants to share time and company with you… If you feel compelled, please reach out at the phone number or email above, and share the rest of this sweet girl’s journey with her.”

She is currently living in Waynesboro, VA.

If you’d like to give this sweet senior lady a great home to spend her golden years, please contact River at the email or phone number above.
