Ginger

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Eileen at 540-743-1203 or little@wildblue.net.

Ginger is a beautiful around a year old spayed female white and grey Domestic Shorthair cat.

Ginger is an outgoing, playful, intelligent & strong minded young cat. She might start off a little shy, because she originally didn’t know human contact, but recently saw her kitten getting petted, and decided it looked like it must feel good, so now she enjoys it too. This young mother, barely older than a kitten herself, was found with her litter of kittens under her rescuer’s deck, and their caregiver was able to trap them, and has been socializing them on her glassed in porch. She is on her way to being of those incredibly loving rescues that will be forever grateful for a good home. She is indoor only, litter box trained, spayed, tested negative for FELV, and rabies vaccinated. So now she’s ready for the loving forever home she so deserves. Ginger, and her son Squidgy are darling kitties. They are being posted separately, but they are very attached and it would be ideal if they could be adopted together. They are currently living in Rileyville, VA.

If you’d like to give this sweet little lady, and / or her son Squidgy a loving forever home, please contact Eileen directly at the phone number or email above.

Squidgy

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Eileen at 540-743-1203 or little@wildblue.net.

Squidgy is a handsome 7 month old neutered male grey and white Domestic Shorthair cat.

He is a very gentle, curious, sweet guy. He’s a real cutie. He earned his name by his endearing way of behaving when his rescuer comes into the room. He just squirms & wiggles with joy. His face is just a bit asymmetrical, which makes him all the more adorable. And what a flirt!  He will steal your heart. He is playful and affectionate. Squidgy is now 99% socialized, (He was originally found with his young mother and kitten siblings living under a deck, and their caregiver was able to trap them, and has been socializing them on her glassed in porch). He is indoor only, litter box trained, neutered, tested negative for FELV, and rabies vaccinated. So now he’s ready for the loving forever home he so deserves. Ginger, his mother, and Squidgy are darling kitties. They are being posted separately, but they are very attached and it would be ideal if they could be adopted together. They are currently living in Rileyville, VA.

Sage

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Teresa by text at 540-280-7907.

Sage is a handsome 3-4 year old neutered male solid grey Domestic Shorthair cat.

Sage is a wonderful, sweet cat who is indoor only, and does ok with other cats and dogs. Sage is a stress eater, he’ll eat out of fear of not having food, that’s why he’s overweight, so this will need to be worked with and monitored in a new home, (rationing food, good special weight control diet) as he will likely need time to get settled and might be a bit stressed in the process. He is currently living in the Waynesboro, VA area.

If you’d like to give this big, loving, adorable guy a forever home, please contact Teresa directly at the phone number by text above.

Lily is a beautiful 13 year old spayed female brown tabby Domestic Shorthair cat.

Lily is a shy and sweet cat who loves affection even from small children as long as they are gentle. She likes to stay an active senior, enjoys playing. She gets along with dogs as well, other cats are unknown. She is an indoor kitty, and litter box trained. She is spayed, and rabies vaccinated. She is currently in Stafford, VA.

Words from her current owners:

” Lily, 13, DSH. We are being relocated internationally to a location with a housing crisis and are unable to take our pets.

Lily has been our cat since she was a kitten, adopted from a rescue organization in 2006.
13 year old DSH female tabby, 10 lbs.
Ideally placement would be by March 1st as we are in the process of selling our home and it could be necessary to move.
We can keep her in our home until placement or until our home is sold.
No health concerns. No behavioral issues.
Lily is shy, she will hide from strangers and at the sound of the doorbell. Settles and greets visitors in the evenings after they have been around for a while.
No biting issues.
Lives with our 80 lb boxer with no concerns. Other cats unknown.
Lives with our two children under the age of 4. Loves my 3.5 year old, waits from him to wake up in the morning so she can snuggle with him. Receptive to my 19 month old but does best with children who know how to sit quietly.
Lives with dogs and children well.

Indoor only  Litter box trained.

Lily is quiet, meows very rarely. Loves to be a lap cat in the evenings and sleep on our guest bed during the day. She’s playful, enjoys anything on a string and fetching small balls. She is spayed and current on all vaccinations. She has been a part of our family and we are truly saddened to rehome her.”

Gus

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact John at 434-989-8396 or john.t.casteen@gmail.com.

Gus is a handsome 7 year old neutered male grey tabby Domestic Shorthair cat.

Gus is a sweet, playful and affectionate guy, but starts off a bit shy. With a little patience and love, you will earn an affectionate, loving cat who gets along with other cats, dogs, and gentle, quieter children. He has a sister, Hazel, who is also available for adoption. They would make a great team, as a more outgoing cat also helps bring one who is a bit more shy out of their shell. He is an indoor cat, though he likes to venture into the backyard some, litter box trained, neutered cat. He is currently living in Harrisonburg, with visits to Charlottesville and Earlysville.

If you would like to give this sweet guy and or his sister a loving forever home, please contact John directly at the phone number or email above.

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Jami at 912-704-5786 or jjlrn2012@gmail.com.

Pink is a beautiful 6 year old, spayed female brown tabby Domestic Shorthair cat. She cannot stay in her current home, due to the caretaker’s allergies. Pink is a great cat who is very social, and wants to be with her people. She is affectionate, intelligent, outgoing, and playful. She has been living indoor / outdoor, but would adapt very well to being an indoor only cat, as she uses litter box, and doesn’t scratch furniture. She even plays fetch with straws! She would do best as an only child, but will get along with one or two other pets (dogs or cats). No toddlers or younger, but great with kids 5 and up. She is spayed, and rabies vaccinated. She is currently in Fishersville, VA.

Gray Boy

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Frankie at 540-487-0967.

Gray Boy is a big, handsome 3-5 year old neutered male grey tabby Domestic Shorthair cat.

Gray Boy is a sweet, tame and affectionate cat, looking for special circumstances for his forever home. He has tested positive both for FIV, and for FELV. With FELV, he absolutely cannot live with other cats who don’t already have it, and definitely cannot live outside any longer. So ideally he would live indoor only in a home with himself being the only cat (might could get used to living with dogs, which would be safe from FIV and FELV) – He would make a great, loving companion. He’s a fantastic cat, who is currently having to live in small quarantined quarters separate from his rescuers other cats, so this is a time sensitive situation for him. He is currently in the Staunton, VA area.

Please contact Frankie directly if you would like to give this handsome, sweet guy a loving forever home.
