Smudge is a 4 year old neutered male, Domestic Longhair cat.

This handsome guy is a very sweet, affectionate cat who will eagerly give and accept love and attention.  He showed up on his present owner’s deck at their cabin.  He will set on your lap and purr for hours and loves to be brushed.  He has been taken to the vet and received his rabies vaccine and was tested for feline HIV and leukemia, which was negative. He may need treatment for worms, wounds or infections but nothing permanent.  Most of the health issues is due to him living in the woods and are easy fixes.  The owners named him Smudge because he is mostly white with patches of gray that looks like ashes.  He is aggressive towards their other four cats, but they believe it is due to his need to survive in the woods. He is an indoor/outdoor kitty.   Smudge will make someone a wonderful, loving addition to their family.

If interested, please contact Cheri or Terry at the number(s) listed above.

This handsome boy loves to play and is very affectionate.  He warms up quickly to strangers and gets along with dogs and small children.   Smokey was dropped in an alley by the house of his present caretaker.  She has four other rescue cats which Smokey is territorial with, so she feels all would be happier for him to have a loving home as an only kitty.  He is litter boxed trained and is current with his rabies vaccine.  As previously mentioned he gets along well with dogs.  This little guy is waiting for someone special to give him a warm loving forever home.

If interested, please contact Sharon at the number listed.

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals. If interested, contact Beth at 540-245-0102 or email at bthomp708@gmail.com.

Eleven is a sweet one year old spayed black and white Tuxedo Domestic Shorthair cat.

This little lady loves attention and snuggling.  She showed up at the owner’s home a few months ago and was very malnourished.  As you can tell by her pictures that is no longer the case.  Her very sweet personality has really started to show.   Even when she was very hungry, she would take time out to stop and bump owner’s hand for a little loving.  Eleven is an indoor/outdoor kitty and is litter box trained.  She gets along with other cats and doesn’t seem to mind dogs, she just stays out of their way.  Her last rabies vaccination was October 2017.

If you are interested please contact Beth at the listed number.

JULIETTA

This cat is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals.  If interested, contact Abby at 540-908-9102 or at nomadear@yahoo.com.

Julietta is a beautiful 8 year old spayed black Domestic Shorthair female cat.

Julie is a very affectionate kitty who has lost her kitty companion.  Her owner would describe her as a “domesticated feral” because she was trapped in 2010 to be reunited with her kitten that was found abandoned in an apartment.  At that time she was practically a kitten herself.  She loves being with other cats.  Her nickname is Justice Julie as she will not fight the other cats but will  breakup any spats between the other kitties.   Julie’s favorite companion was moved to a farm to live due to him peeing in the house.  The other two kitties in the home are not as affectionate as she is so she is lonely during the day while her owner is at work.  This precious little girl would love a forever home with someone who could give her more attention.  She loves peaceful companionship and would do wonderful with other loving kitties.

If you are interested in Julie, please contact Abby at the above listed number.

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat’s Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals.  If interested, contact Vickie at 540-221-0812 or send an email to vicstover@hotmail.com.

Tiger is a three year old neutered male feral grey Tabby  Shorthair Cat.

Tiger is a handsome guy but lives up to his name.  He is aggressive and territorial which makes him more of a “working cat” than a snuggle kitty.  He would be a great mouser and would do wonderful on a farm.  He is litter box trained, but needs to be an outdoor cat only.  He had his last rabies vaccination in 2017.   Tiger deserves a loving individual that would give him a forever home and let him help out around the outside of their house/barn.
